Kalinga Silk sarees are the traditional silk fabrics, originally supported by the royal families of Orissa. Produced by the artisans of Cuttack, Puri and Nuapatna districts of Orissa, Kalinga Silk since time immemorial have been very expensive as its always meant for wedding ceremonies and religious purposes. Replete with elaborate motifs these sarees are all available in red, black or white colour.
